TUTORIAL: Vibrant Sunset Eyes

Today I have a tutorial on this beautiful sunset eye look using yellow and orange.  I feel like it's the happy meeting place of natural and avant garde makeup and I did receive a few compliments when wearing it out.

NYX's Milk Jumbo Shadow Pencil
As usual for looks using bright shadows I started out with a white base, blended with a dense brush.

Then I packed a sunshine yellow from inner corner to mid lid, stopping at the crease.

Next I took a light orange onto the remaining portion of my lid, overlapping slightly in the centre and gently buffing to meld.

You can see here the shadow should hit right around the crease of the eye.

For more depth (and vibrancy) I went onto the outer corner and crease with a pumpkin orange.

Before blending...

After blending!  Using a completely neutral beige and a firm brush at the outer edges of the orange.

Brows are a brunette powder and foundation is Tarte Amazonian Clay in Fair Beige.
Coming to the final steps now I applies a silvery white mixed with the first yellow to the inner corner and a bright coral along the lower lashline.  I also finished up with brown eyeliner to tightline and mascara top and bottom.

So this is the look finished up with a warm nude lip.

I personally love the yellow to orange gradient.

I did feel I wanted to add more of a pink tone to the lower lashline as some sunsets appear, so I added some hot pink to the outer edge.

And this is how it looks if you want a stronger pink tone.

I loved this look and hopefully you enjoyed reading about it.  Have a great day,

Cassy
