Houses of Hogwarts: A Ravenclaw Inspired Look (Daytime Wearable)

Alright, the previous look from Gryffindor (check it out if you haven't) was a more outlandish, Avante Garde look.  This week we have a much more wearable look, still featuring the house colours and perfect for winged liner lovers.  Read on to find out how I did it.

Starting out, as usual, prime the eyes and set with a skin tone shade from crease and up.

Then it's time to pack a lovely bronze all over the lid.

After that you need to take a warm, caramel brown into the crease and blend it out (either alone or with a transition colour).

Onto the Ravenclaw blue, I took firstly a purple-ish blue onto the lower lashline;

Then I added a deeper blackened blue for depth.

And then to even out the depth so as to not look so droopy eyed, I added the black-blue into a wing.  You'll need to customise to your eye shape and preference.

Excited that they were fairly even.

I wasn't happy with how blue it was so I added the lighter blue on top.

Then here the finished look with tightlining and mascara and an optional extra, a flick of blue in the tail of my brow.

Hopefully you liked the look, I really enjoyed creating this one. Until next week,

Cassy

P.S. I just finished the original series and though I didn't bawl for fear of familial judgement, I definitely got the feels throughout the series, in particular 'The Deathly Hallows'.  And to think we are almost living in the time mentioned at the end of the novel!  Now I need to examine the movies closely and judge them as a newly minted Potterhead.
