Quick Review and PSA: Eye of Horus Lash Curler

This review won't require a lot of text so I'll just leave it as is and explain my issue with this product.

Back in October I bought this curler as a replacement to my beloved Revlon curler which is getting to the point where it won't stay clean and is nonetheless non-CF.

My lids/eyeballs are apparently very convex because the elf curler I got was no where near touching all of my lashes at once and when I cracked open this one it wasn't great either.  That's where the issue began.

The tool is all black, a fairly cheap plastic handle and exposed wires.  The rubber is quite soft (squishy).

RRP: $19 on eyeofhorus.com
I paid $19.95 at Go Vita
They would not refund me.
My big issue with this is how it behaves in use and its clearly faulty manufacture.

I have not used this once without it pinching the skin of my lids.  This is painful and dangerous.  It never happens with my Revlon curler.

Take a look below and you'll see the manufacturing fault I mentioned.

Not as noticeable when the clamp is open.
The whole thing is wonky.  As such it will clamp your lashes unevenly, meaning either uncurled sections or broken lashes.

You can see just how wonky it is when almost shut.
Save your money, don't buy this crap.  If you shop at Go Vita they'll give you the run around (my girl tried to tell me that EOH would take it because I wasn't satisfied with the shape, never heard back from either) and charge you extra for the privilege.

Buyer beware,

Cassy
