GRWM: Silver and Plum MetalMatte
I just recently bought and received the Kat von D MetalMatte palette from Sephora AU. I've done a few looks and photoed the process of the most recent one. Apologies for the poor imagery, it's no excuse but I was in a rush to get to work after doing my mum's makeup for an event.
I started by priming my eyes and setting my crease and up with Bone. This shade has been chalky in the past but using the round topped concealer brush (Zoeva 142 Concealer Buffer) to pat it on it went much better.
Following on I grabbed Tinsel directly onto my finger and swiped it onto the inner 2/3 of my lids. I was in a rush and didn't want to mess around. Tinsel looks chunky but upon feeling the powder it's perfectly smooth to touch.
As a transition I took Silk (on a Sigma E40 Tapered Blending), a shade which had always performed quite nicely.
To deepen I placed Velvet on the outer 1/3 and gently into the crease (on an elf Contour Brush) before taking the E40 again to smooth the edges somewhat. I also added Icemist Diamond from Femme Fatale as my favourite highlight.
After that I totally failed to take any finished product shots but I did add mascara and used Nyx Butter Gloss in Devil's Food Cake to match the eyes.
