TUTORIAL: Blackened Peach

In this eye look we're using all matte shadows with a bright peach on the lid, deepened with black through the crease, outer C and lower lashline.

Start by priming and adding your peach onto the lid, right up to the crease. I used Inglot eyeshadow in 312.

Next, blend a neutral transition colour around the eye.  It's important to go neutral because we're blending together black and a warn shade and this will ease the tonal transition.  I used Cream Dream from the Saucebox Etude palette.

Last up for shadow take a small brush and slowly add your black shade into the crease of your eye and outer corner.  I kept the black fairly high and cut, angling it into a sort of wing and keeping it 'C' shaped where it meets the peach.  Make sure to take your time and blend over both inner and outer edges of the black.  My matte black was Toffee from Saucebox's Etude.

This is the final look with tightlining and mascara.  I used essence's Long Lasting eye pencil in Hot Chocolate and Physician's Formula Organic Wear.

Okay, that's all today, I hope you liked it and learned that using black isn't as intimidating as it seems.  Sub in any colour or finish you like and customise the look to suit yourself.

Have a good day all,

Cassy
