Jkissa Recreation: Pink, Green and Peach Colour Clash
I saw Jkissa's (who I adore) new video in which she used new Colourpop pressed shadows and had to recreate the clashing look she did. I don't have the exact shadows nor even 100% dupes but I used the closest shades I own to get a similar look.
As usual I started by priming and I patted a face powder onto my hood to prepare for blending.
Next I took Shiro Cosmetics 'Forever A Loan' and packed that onto the inner half of my lid. It wasn't a perfect match for the colours Jkissa used but fell in between. She actually took a matte pale green and later a similar tone of high shimmer but I went with the satin colour I own.
Now on the outer corner I grabbed my NYX Ultimate Brights palette and popped one of the pinks on the outer corner. I ended up mixing all three in the end so just do that if you have the palette.
In this shot you may not see the subtle change but I mixed the deep green from the Brights palette with a grey (to make it cooler, similar to the original shade used) and blended that into the far inner corner.
Here I diverge a bit from the original look in which she used two shimmers on the lid and instead I foiled one golden peach shade and patted it onto the centre of my lid.
Then I took a mixture of peach and orange tones in an attempt to get the right colour and blended them through the crease. Later I found 'Candied Peach' from the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette added the right warmth and depth.
Onto the home stretch: I carried the pinks and then the peach onto my lower lashline
Finally I added Becca 'Moonstone' Pressed Highlighter onto the inner corner
After finishing my face I went back with a fleshy colour to blend out the crease and added mascara for the finished look
I tried to style the rest of my makeup similarly too with the lavender highlight and brownish lips
Although it isn't the same as the lovely work by Jkissa, I really enjoyed messing around trying to recreate the look and it turned out well. Have a marvellous week/end.
